Exploring Procrastination in Psychotherapy will explore the proposed psychoanalytic etiologies of procrastination. The seminar will cover the understanding of how the dynamics of procrastination impacts people’s success and develop strategies to address this push against progressing. The presenter will review the most recent research on procrastination to establish a thorough understanding of this issue.
Dr. Robert J. Rogers PhD, LP is a clinical psychologist in private practice with 18 years of clinical experience. Dr. Rogers is currently a fellow at the Institute of Individual and Group Psychotherapy. In addition to operating a private practice in psychotherapy, Dr. Rogers also performs psychological evaluations on adults and children. He is an adjunct professor at the University of Detroit Mercy and also works in the forensic setting as well as consults with various agencies in the Metro Detroit area.
